Hi everyone! I just wanted to come on here and give you guys a quick update because I know my blogging schedule has not been up to it’s usual standards. There are three main reasons for that.
- I was published! An extended (and cleaner version of my short story “Prom Panic” was published in the debut issue of Curiostales Magazine alongside interviews with authors Bree Barton and Sarah Henning! Buy it here!
- I’m going to be in an anthology! One of my groups on Scribophile is publishing a fractured fairytales anthology in April 2019, so I’ve been working hard on my contribution to that. It’s currently up for critiques if any of you are on this site. My profile is https://www.scribophile.com/authors/c-j-kavanaugh/
- And finally, I’ve been working away meeting editing deadlines. I’ve gotten to cross paths with some great authors with exciting things coming up later this year and next year. Look out for some promotions as they release. If you need an editor or sensitivity reader, check out my services here.
Monday my plan is to post about what I learned writing an 8,000-word retelling of Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves for the anthology. What else would you like to see in future posts. Comment below and let me know!
As always, keep making magic, word weavers!
